Driving Rules & Eligibility
Every operator booking with Best Adventure Fiji must strictly satisfy the following criteria:- Minimum Age: The primary renter and all authorized additional operators must be at least 21 years of age.
- License Validity: You must possess a full national driver’s license maintained without severe penalties for at least 2 consecutive years.
- Left-Side Traffic: Renters must explicitly acknowledge that vehicle traffic moves on the left side of the road within the Republic of Fiji.
Geographic Boundaries & Usage Limits
Our fleet contains vehicles meant for specific road conditions:
- Terrain Bans: Standard economy sedans and non-4WD assets are completely banned from traveling on unsealed roads, dirt tracks, beaches, river beds, and unpaved interior trails.
- Inter-Island Transfers: Rented assets are entirely prohibited from being driven onto inter-island roll-on/roll-off vehicle ferries (e.g., traveling from Viti Levu to Vanua Levu) unless you secure written, explicit management clearance beforehand.
Financial Authorizations & Deposits
- Security Holds: A mandatory security deposit hold is authorized on your credit card at vehicle pickup to handle minor damages, missing fuel, or late drop-off fees. This hold releases automatically following a successful, damage-free inspection.
Cancellations & Returns
- Notice Over 48 Hours: Cancellations submitted more than 48 hours prior to pickup get a full refund minus an administrative processing fee.
- Notice Under 24 Hours: Cancellations submitted inside a 24-hour window from pickup, or client no-shows, are strictly non-refundable.
- Early Drop-offs: No refunds or partial credits are issued if you return the rental vehicle earlier than your booked return date.
